Yeti's Story

For Information, Text 916-765-8573

Yeti is a 5-month-old yellow female who is already turning heads with her size and her heart. At 57 lbs and still growing, she’s a big, lovable puppy with an even bigger personality. She loves her crate and sleeps quietly all night. She is learning basics like sit and off, walks well on leash and loves her walkies, stuffed toys and chews (teething pup!).

Yeti was found in Bakersfield in a homeless situation and was surrendered to us so she could finally get the life she deserves. Our best guess is a yellow Lab / livestock guardian mix, possibly Anatolian Shepherd — she’s a big girl and still growing fast. We are sending out a DNA test.

Despite her rough start, Yeti loves everyone and everything. She especially enjoys family walks and won’t keep going unless everyone is together — she truly wants her people close. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and will bring a lot of love and companionship to her future home. She is gentle with kids, but due to her size we recommend kids 8+ who can understand big-puppy manners

Food Notes:
When Yeti first arrived, she grumbled if someone approached her food — likely from needing to compete for meals earlier in life. With 3+ weeks of routine meals and trust, this behavior has resolved.

Ideal Home for Yeti:
• Dog-savvy home familiar with large-breed puppies
• Good-sized yard or property for a growing girl
• Someone prepared for a big, teething puppy
• Plenty of chew toys, exercise, and potty break reminders
• Commitment to continued training and manners
• Someone home most of the day (not gone more than 4 hours at a time)

Yeti is ready to leave her past behind and grow up in a home filled with love — could that be yours?

Located in Rocklin, CA

All puppies are adopted with a Puppy Addendum that covers spay and vaccines.
