Yennefer of Pits-Burgh's Story

On February 4, 2020, the ASPCA removed dozens of dogs from a dilapidated property in Arkansas. Hello Bully recently partnered with the ASPCA to bring one of these dogs, a young adult female Pit Bull mix, to Pittsburgh.

We love this brave little girl, and we are so excited to introduce her to you. Please join us in welcoming the bewitching Yennefer of Pits-Burgh. As you can see from the video, the dogs on this property were not receiving adequate care, and many were fearful. https://youtu.be/IdLxvgT6fJE

Yennefer continues to show mild signs of fear in new situations. She warms up to people in about a minute flat. She warms up to dogs as well. While she may be shy, this girl is no wallflower. We are watching her bloom before our eyes.

Yennie is looking for a home with other dogs. She like play and gives fair corrections. An older dog might be more her speed than a young rambunctious one. She has not been tested with cats or kids, but we’re willing to do that as she progresses.

She will need patience as she gets to know this big world. Hello Bully is moving forward in small, structured steps to set this beautiful babe up for success. She has already come so far. Our Behavior Team will help you to carry that forward and to give her all the support she needs.

As Yennefer has started to meet everyone on our team, she becomes more and more social. We would love to spend more time with her, but more dogs are waiting, and it is time for Yen to find her forever family.

Yen is a Pit Bull mix, 1.5 years old. She is vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is about 35 pounds and has a tall Dane-ish, forever-puppy look. She was treated for mange and has made a great recovery. She is otherwise healthy, bright, active, and social, with mild fear in new situations. This girl is a gem. For more information, please visit www.hellobully.org or email us at adopt@hellobully.com
