Yasmin (Yazzy)'s Story
Energetic, sweet, and silly, this beautiful girl will make a great family pet to anyone with an active lifestyle.
She loves being outside, running around the backyard, playing fetch, going on long walks, and more!!!
She can be shy around other dogs. We actually go in the dog park and walk the perimeter. She prefers to supervise the action instead of jumping in the middle of it. She has made a few friends there, though.

At home, she loves her foster sister Darla who is about the same size her and they run and play for a lot of the day. She loves the cat and they are buddies, even sleeping together sometimes. Just no small dogs.
She has not been around small children. She could be trained to be gentle. And is not normally overly rambunctious or jumpy.
She loves her people and always greets us with lots of wiggling, tail wags, and belly rubs.
She lets us know when there are strangers around, making her a good guard dog and we're still working on "no bark" command, but it's going well.
She warms up to new people coming into the house after a little while. Just give her space to greet them.
She was diagnosed with hip displasia in Sept and so needs to be on Dasuquin joint supplement.

Check out more pictures and videos on our facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/SpencerPetRescueIL

Highlights:
- Housebroken
- Crate trained
- Loves car rides
- Does well with other dogs her own size one on one
- Does well with cats
- Needs time to warm up to new people
- has hip displasia, takes Dasuquin daily
