Yammy's Story

Meet Yammy — sweet as pie and full of personality

Yammy came to our shelter after her owner experienced a medical emergency and could no longer care for her. Adjusting to shelter life hasn’t been easy, but this loving girl has been finding comfort in the things she adores most: people, cozy blankets, and of course... snacks. Peanut butter is her absolute favorite.

Yammy is a total lovebug who thrives on affection and being close to her humans. She enjoys quiet moments like people-watching from a bench during her walks, and she looks adorable bundled up in a sweater on chilly days. She still has plenty of pep in her step and loves showing off her zoomies in the yard.

She’s still learning her leash manners, but with her treat-motivated personality, she’s making steady progress. Yammy prefers to be the only dog in the home — she’s never had doggy siblings before — but she more than makes up for it with her snuggles, sweetness, and loyalty.

Yammy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who loves quiet walks, warm blankets, and peanut-butter-powered happiness, Yammy might be your perfect match.
