Hi, I’m Yami!<br/><br/>I’m a 2-year-old Lab/corgi mix, around 40 pounds of gentle, loyal love. I’m spayed, fully vaccinated, potty trained, and crate trained—and I’m proud to say I’ve mastered the art of chilling. I was rescued off the streets by The Cantu Foundation after surviving some pretty rough beginnings, including a muscle tick from distemper (I beat it! No health issues). I like to take introductions slow, this is mainly because of my traumatizing past, people weren’t always nice to me —if you give me a few minutes to get comfortable, I’ll soon be your best friend. I'm not one for the chaos of busy streets or big crowds, but a calm environment (or a backyard!) is where I truly shine. I’m not into toys much, but I do love a good run around the yard or a thoughtful walk where I can sniff all the things.<br/><br/>My dream home?<br/><br/>A peaceful home with patient people who understand I like to go at my own pace. A quiet neighborhood or a home with a yard would be perfect. I could thrive as your one-and-only or potentially with another calm dog buddy. I'm still unsure about kids (so maybe a home 12+) and cats, but one thing’s for sure—I’ll give you my whole heart once we connect.<br/><br/>My adoption fee is $350, which includes my spay, vaccinations, and microchip.
