Xena's Story

Xena is being fostered in Lynnwood, WA and she is available to meet!

Xena was found near an
abandoned house in a rural town we help, and she was picked up by animal control. She was taken to the shelter. No one claimed her, so she was going to be euthanized. Our volunteers met her at the shelter, and couldn’t leave her behind. Thankfully, one of our selfless fosters agreed to help, and we saved Xena in December. She has been in our care while we had her veterinary care completed. Now, she’s ready to find a someone who will love her forever.

Xena is a senior dog, but she still has a lot of love to give. The vet estimated that she is 8 years old. She has a laid back personality, and isn’t high energy. She would be fine with a daily walk and a comfy bed.

Xena is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. She loves other dogs and has been with children as young as 6. She weighs 58 pounds, and she’s a Staffordshire Terrier mix

Xena is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.

We respond to all inquiries.
