We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes!<br/><br/>SATURDAY, JUNE 20 from 12 TO 3PM: PET ADOPTION EVENT at the MERRIAM PETSMART located at 5810 Antioch Rd, Merriam, KS 66202. Join us at Merriam Petsmart and meet your perfect match. Well have DOGS, PUPPIES & KITTIES ready to steal your heart!<br/><br/>--------<br/><br/>Meet XENA! If youre looking for a fun, easygoing girl to bring some joy into your life... Xena might just be your perfect match.<br/><br/>Shes a playful sweetheart who loves running around the yard, chasing her dog friends, and just enjoying life. Shes always down for a good time, especially if theres another pup involved. A playful dog sibling would be right up her alley. <br/><br/>After shes burned off her energy, Xena is totally content just hanging out and relaxing with her people. Shes got that perfect mix of playful and chill that makes her so easy to love.<br/><br/>Her story hasnt been the easiestshe was found crammed into a crate in a backyard with two other dogs. We dont know how long they endured that, but what we do know is that Xena hasnt let it dim her spirit one bit. Shes still full of love, happiness, and excitement for whats next.<br/><br/>Xena is a year old. Shes ready for a fresh start with a family who will give her all the love shes been missing.<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
