Lost and Found Animal Foundation's Adoption Policy
The adopters fill out the adoption form - I check if the owner is matching the application name and info looks good. Large yard is usually for my dogs, no apartments due to their large breeds. We always do meet n greets in a neutral area like a park nearby, we walk the dogs on leash only and see their reactions. We sometimes meet for the 2nd time to introduce dogs again or do the 2nd meet up so the dogs get to know eachother even better. We follow them home and go do a home check of their property or a later time. We re deliver the dog with all their bed, toys, treats and food to hold them over till they transition to their new food. We require certain breeds to have an air tag waiting on delivery. We also have weekly free socializing training classes for them to come and ask our professional trainers for advice, mainly we just socialize the dogs and just have fun.
