Xena our Warrior Princess is still waiting on her forever home. <br/><br/>This girl is an outdoor enthusiast dream dog!! She is full of energy, love, and is always ready to do whatever is asked of her. Yesterday, she got some one and one time with the staff and she showed us just how special she really is. <br/>In one session, this dog, who has never been taught anything in her entire life learned how to:<br/>- Sit <br/>- Down<br/>- And something we like to call a place command. In ONE SESSION! <br/> <br/>This girl LOVES to learn, she is very intelligent, and for the first time since coming to the shelter she said “FINALLY, I get some quality time! And they can see how smart I am too! “<br/>She does appear to have some intense prey drive and could a prospect for someone looking to dabble in some dog sports as a hobby (we plan to test her further to see what all she takes interest in ) Her ideal home would be one that:<br/><br/>- Is active and will give her plenty of physical AND MENTAL exercise <br/>- Is an only dog home or has a male dog.
