He brings fun wherever he goes and has quickly become a favorite with our team and volunteers alike.<br/><br/>Xavier knows his basic commands and is eager to engage with his people. He’s very affectionate, people-friendly, and does great with other dogs his size, best with females. He loves being active — whether it’s fetch, playtime with dog friends, or long walks with his favorite humans.<br/><br/>He is a strong leash walker, but he improves significantly when walked using a harness or the proper collar. With the right setup and continued consistency, he’s a fantastic walking and adventure companion.<br/>At about 55 pounds, Xavier is the perfect size for someone wanting an active, sturdy, fun-loving best friend without going extra-large.<br/><br/>After waiting far too long for someone to choose him, Xavier is more than ready for a real home, real love, and a true second chance.<br/><br/>A volunteer favorite and a certified 5-star good boy — Xavier is ready to make up for lost time with his forever family. 💙
