Xavier's Story

Xavier was picked up as a stray in a rural town we help in South Texas. Nobody claimed him, so we brought him into our program. One of our wonderful fosters brought Xavier into her home, and he is a very sweet boy. He has completed his veterinary care, so he’s ready to find someone who will always love him.

Xavier loves everyone he meets. He follows his foster and rolls over for belly rubs. He likes to go for walks and is great on a leash. He is house trained and crate trained. He has been with children as young as 4, and he is gentle with them.

Xavier is being fostered with other dogs of various sizes, and he gets along with all of them. He is also cat friendly. He weighs 35 pounds, and he is 1 year old. We think he’s a Lab mix.

Xavier is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also heartworm negative, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Xavier can arrive in Connecticut on 1/4. His adoption fee is $895, which includes his vetting and transport to a city near you. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt

We respond to all inquiries.
