Xarpo's Story

Meet Xarpo!

Meet Xarpo, a young female Husky mix named after the Greek goddess of fall—and just like her namesake, she’s absolutely stunning. Everyone who meets her can’t help but comment on her striking beauty, but it’s her fun-loving spirit that truly wins hearts. Xarpo may be initially shy and nervous with both people and dogs, but she warms up quickly, revealing her playful, energetic, and affectionate personality. She is a social butterfly at heart and hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t like. She would thrive with a dog companion her size or larger, as she can be quite rambunctious and energetic—perfect for dogs who enjoy active play and puppy energy.

Xarpo is learning her manners and basic commands, including polite play, not jumping, and proper interactions with both people and dogs. She does well in her crate overnight, though during the day she much prefers to be out and about, as any active Husky mix would. She’s in the process of house training—she’ll go outside when asked but occasionally forgets when she’s busy playing. She has seen cats but hasn’t been trained to live with them, as she’s far more interested in her canine friends. Not suited for apartment living, Xarpo can be vocal and needs space and activity to thrive. With her adventurous spirit, she’d make a fantastic running or hiking partner. Xarpo is ready to find her forever family—one that appreciates her beauty, nurtures her confidence, and gives her the active, loving life she’s meant to live. Could she be your perfect fall goddess?

Xarpo is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
