Wynonna's Story

Hi I'm Wynonna, at least that's what they've been calling me since I arrived at Saving Grace. Before that my life's bit of a blur, but since I've been here, it's all sunshine and roses. I get regular meals, <br/>which is fantastic, everyone seems to love dogs, and there are lots of dogs to play with. When the volunteers see me they kept saying stuff like "she's so thin", "eat a cheeseburger", but I didn't want to eat and wasn't feeling so hot. Then I went to a foster home and here's what they had to say about me: "<br/>Wynonna was a wonderful house guest. She was a bit nervous at first but settled in quickly and made herself right at home. She was sweet and respectful to our two older dogs and submissively licked their faces and ears. She is a fun playful girl who is up for a good time or a cuddle on the couch. She sleeps quietly in her crate all night and has been very good working on her potty training. She has quickly learned the routine of our house and is such a sweet dog. She would love a home where she could be part of the everyday activities and would make a wonderful companion for another canine friend. She is a special girl and we are hoping she finds a wonderful home where she will be treasured like the jewel that she is." <br/><br/>I already miss my foster family but can't wait to find my forever family. Could it be you?<br/>*Sleepover feedback: "<br/>Wynonna is a very sweet girl. She followed me around everywhere. She loves toys! I only had the stuffed kind. Adorably, she would spend equal time with each animal and would even go upstairs to get other ones to bring to the party! She warmed up to everyone that came by and everyone absolutely loved her".<br/><br/>Weekend Host Feedback: "I hosted Wynonna for the extended Thanksgiving weekend. She was the sweetest girl. She played very well with my sister's 2 border collies. She pulled a little on the least, but other than that she did very well on our walks. She has a good amount of energy, but is very snuggling when she is tired. She loved bones and hard plastic toys. She was almost fully potty trained. After she had a few days to settle in, she slept well through the night in her crate. You can tell she would train very easily as she had almost learned to sit on command in the few days we had her. She was such a sweet, sweet girl and would make a great addition to any family!"

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
