This beautiful boy is a Hound, Heeler, and Retriever mix, born on December 24, 2024—just a tiny pup when he and his four siblings were heartbreakingly dumped in the Rebecca Creek area of Spring Branch. The five of them were found living in kennels on a porch, with no family and no real comfort, until they were brought to us and given a second chance.<br/><br/>Now safe and cared for, Wyatt is slowly blossoming into the dog he was always meant to be. He’s still a little shy at first, especially with new people, but it doesn’t take long for his gentle heart to shine through. Once he decides you’re safe, he’ll lean into your touch, showing affection in the quiet, sincere way that makes dogs like him so special.<br/><br/>Wyatt is smart and curious, with a playful spirit that’s starting to come out more each day. He loves to explore, to engage, and to figure out the world around him. His time at the shelter has helped him gain confidence—he’s learning to enjoy being around people and discovering how good it feels to be loved.<br/><br/>What Wyatt needs now is a home where he can continue to grow and feel safe. Someone patient and kind, who understands that the best bonds are the ones built slowly and gently.
