Wrigley's Story

Hi my name is Wrigley (Wrigley Banks, can you tell I am from a big Cubs family) and I am looking forward to my happily ever after. Earlier this year, my human momma died and I had to leave my human siblings. It was very sad as I had been with them since I was a puppy. But I am a very happy guy and am so thankful for my foster family taking me in.

I love going for walks and playing with squeaky toys. I also love to cuddle on the couch and get scratches on my belly. I am well-mannered when it’s time to eat and will sit and give paw! I get along with the resident beagle, she and I play sometimes too. But we are both 8 years old and would rather just chill on the couch or lie in the sun outside.

I do like to try to escape from the yard so a good fence will be needed to contain my excitement for exploring the neighborhood on my own and smelling all the bunnies! I am quiet except when someone is at the door, or another dog is outside, or I smell a bunny.

I was crated at my old house, but my fosters haven’t used one for me. I do like to tip the garbage so make sure it’s hidden from me. What can I say, I am your typical curious, adorable beagle! I sleep on my dog bed on the floor next to my foster mom and dad’s bed. I can be known to snore too but will sleep all night and wait for you to wake up.

I do need to lose a few pounds. I get walked every day, even twice a day, so my fosters are trying to help me with that. I am low energy but will play with you and again, I LOVE walks.

I am an all-around happy guy, healthy as they come, and can’t wait to start my happy ever after with a loving family. Could it be you?

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
