WREN's Story

WREN was brought to the shelter as a stray so nothing is known about her background. She does have a microchip and the owner knew she was at the shelter but is not coming for her.

WREN is a young girl, 1 1/2 years old, she is spayed, has had her DA2PP and bordetella vaccines and is listed as a Pit Bull Terrier mix.

WREN has only been at the shelter for a few days, but she has already won the hearts of the staff and volunteers because she is such a sweet, lovable, friendly girl! WREN also walks well on a leash, especially for a young dog!

It is difficult to tell for sure in the shelter setting whether or not a dog is housebroken, so it is best to assume they are not and be pleasantly surprised if they are!

WREN has been fine around the other shelter dogs, but nothing is known about how she is with kids or cats since there are neither at the shelter. Please bring your kids, dog(s), and even your cat(s), if possible, to the shelter for a meet and greet with the warden or deputies just to be sure everyone gets along before taking WREN home!
