Woofy's Story

Meet Woofy!! Woofy is sweet and obedient, he’ll do anything for a treat!! He does great with other dogs but he’s his best self when there are no cats around. (No kitties in the home please) He is currently on a farm with horses and a zebra (yes an actual zebra) and he does just fine with them as well. Woofy is house broken and kennel trained. He’s got great recall and loves riding in the backseat! At this time, his leash skills can sure use some help! Approximately 2 years old. Located in the Central Valley. Reedley Cares for Cats's Adoption Policy

These are the steps for adopting any or our rescued animals. Fill out application, and return to rescue. We then review applications and select those who we feel would be great candidates for particular animal. We move onto a phone interview and thoroughly discuss everything about the dog or cat, answer any questions and if potential adopter wants to proceed then we perform a home visit along with a meet and greet between adopter and dog or cat. After this, if everything is cleared by rescue, the animal if formally adopted.
