Woofie's Story
Woofie is a sweet boy who came to our rescue in the spring of 2022 after being surrendered to a shelter when he was just eight months old. Woofie struggled with anxiety and desperately needed to build confidence. In July of 2023, Woofie was accepted into the Happy Hounds Prison Dog Program where he worked on leash walking, basic obedience, and socializing with other dogs. <br/><br/>He completed his time in the program and is now looking for an adopter to call his own. His anxiety has greatly approved and he has done well with some other dogs with a slow and proper intro. Woofie will need patience and love in his forever home and would benefit from ongoing training and socialization. He is neutered, current on vaccines and preventatives, and is microchipped.
