They were only six weeks old, and their condition was heartbreaking. Overrun with worms and coccidia, the pups were so sick they were barely hanging on. We dropped everything, made the late-night drive, and brought them home.<br/><br/>At first, it wasn’t clear if they would survive. They were frail, lethargic, and malnourished. But with intensive care, medicine, and round-the-clock attention, the puppies slowly began to fight their way back.<br/><br/>One of those survivors is Woody.<br/><br/>Now nine months old, Woody has blossomed into a goofy, energetic, and affectionate boy. A unique Hound/Labradoodle mix, he’s healthy, strong, and full of life. Where once there was fear and fragility, now there’s joy and playfulness.<br/><br/>Woody loves to run, explore, and clown around — his zest for life is contagious.
