Woody's Story

Hi! Everyone calls me Woody, although my real name is Woodstock. I'm a 4-year old male beagle. I'm a very friendly, outgoing boy! I really love to chew on my nylabone & my big rope toy! No one really played with me in my prior home, but I think I would like a person to play with! I've always lived with another dog (Snoopy, who is also available for adoption). But we aren't bonded at all. So it's fine if we go into separate homes. I haven't been around other animals or children. I'm very good in a car! My prior person was disabled & wasn't able to get me outside on a regular basis. And so they used pee pads (although sometimes I missed :/). Nittany Beagle Rescue is looking for a home for me where I'll get the affection & attention I would love! My new home will need to help me with housetraining, but I'm sure I'll learn quickly. I'll be neutered before I'm adopted. Please think about giving me a home! I really want one!!! My photo is coming soon! Kennel License #4068

Nittany Beagle Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog & Nittany Beagle Rescue! We are a foster-home based rescue. We hold showings on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at Lyons Kennels in Bellefonte, PA from 11am - 1pm. You can meet some of our dogs then! Please email or send a PM on our FB page if you want to know if a particular dog will be at the showing. If you are interested in a particular dog, or a type of dog, please submit an application to foster or adopt (it's the same application form). Once you have an approved application for a dog, we will connect you with the dog's foster parent. Typically the potential adopter & foster talk on the telephone first. Then if the dog seems like a good fit, we arrange a personal meet & greet. To download an application form, please go to (or copy & paste the link into your browser): https://www.nittanybeaglerescue.org/adopt.cfm For a full listing of our events, please go the Events page of our website: https://www.nittanybeaglerescue.org/events.cfm No same day adoptions.
