Woods's Story
Woods is a very friendly unknown/mixed breed pup that was found in a ditch, severely underweight (presented at 13.4 pounds, is now a lean 20 pounds, ideal weight between 20 and 25 pounds), with a terrible upper respiratory infection.

Either as a result of that infection, or due to a congenital abnormality, Woods' nasal passages are not completely open at the pharynx, and he therefore breathes primarily through his mouth rather than his nose, and has more frequent mucus at the nostrils than a dog with open nasal passages. This does not appear to affect his energy level or ability to do all the doggy things - his current favorite pass-times are running in circles in the field with the other dogs, sleeping in the sun, and chewing on sticks and pinecones.

Woods has been in a foster home with multiple cats and small dogs; has had play dates with dogs a bit larger than himself; around horses and chickens and has shown no tendency toward aggression or chasing.

Woods is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, and ready to find his permanent home.
