Wishbone

Introducing Wishbone!

*At Fresh Start Prison Training Program, available for meet and greets 11/29/26*

Wishbone is a beagle with two very distinct modes: snuggle every human he sees and dig like he’s trying to reach the Earth’s molten core. He loves greeting absolutely everyone, soaking up pets like it’s his fulltime job, and then blasting off into yard zoomies that could qualify him for competitive dog athletics. He has an estimated Birth Date of 03/01/26 and currently weighs 30lbs

He’s sweet, gentle, and ridiculously lovable, the kind of dog who leans in for affection and makes you feel like his favorite person. But he’s also a certified digger and a bit of an escape artist. If there’s a fence, he’ll politely acknowledge it... and then immediately begin planning his tunnel system. He's lovely with other dogs, enjoys a play mate, would most likely do well with cats given a slow introduction and would do best with kids over 10. he can be a little timid about quick hand movements and will prefer older children that can respect his space.

If you’ve ever wanted a dog who’s equal parts cuddle buddy, comedian, and determined little explorer, Wishbone is ready to move in and make your life brighter.

Visit our website: www.hsmcohio.org and get started by filling out an adoption application.

Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough).
