Wish's Story

Wish is a very sweet Lab mix who is about 2 years old. She's 38 lbs, loves to snuggle and play with other dogs. She is very shy and needs an understanding owner and has to be placed in a home that has a very confident dog that she can attach to and play with. She's been very traumatized in her life but once she bonds with you she becomes your velcro dog. She would be better in a home where somebody is home more than not. She's spayed, up to date on shots, and heartworm tested negative. She is extremely sweet and would love to find her forever home. Paws 4 the Cause's Adoption Policy

Paws 4 the Cause is an all volunteer "no kill" rescue. We do not harm animals, but the more we can adopt out, the more we can take in. We take in the hardest cases, dogs and cats that are close to death or starvation. The adoption fee barely covers a fraction of what we spend. Our average animal costs about $200 for the first month in food and vet fees, and approx. $50 per month thereafter. All donations are used to pay directly for animal food and vet expenses. There are no employee or overhead expenses.
