Foster or adopter needed: Hi... my name is Winter.<br/><br/>I’m 6 years old. I’m deaf. And right now, I need somewhere safe to go before I lose the only place I have. My foster family loves me very much, but because of an unexpected change in their living situation, they can no longer keep me.<br/><br/>I don’t understand what’s happening. I just know my world is changing again... and I’m scared.<br/><br/>I may not hear your voice, but I feel everything. I feel kindness. I feel comfort. I feel when someone loves me. And when I trust you, I love with my whole heart.<br/><br/>I’m not asking for much.<br/><br/>Just a calm home.<br/>A soft place to sleep.<br/>A person who won’t give up on me.<br/><br/>Truthfully, I’d do best as your one and only pet so I can finally relax and feel secure. People see “deaf,” or “pit bull,” or “needs to be the only pet,” and keep scrolling.<br/><br/>But I am still worthy of love.<br/>I am still worthy of safety.<br/>And I am desperately hoping someone out there sees me.<br/><br/>Please... don’t let me run out of options.<br/><br/>I’m currently in the Baltimore area, but transport help may be available for fosters/adopters in and around Maryland.<br/><br/>Love,<br/>Winter
