Her loving caretaker recently passed away, and her family reached out to us to make sure she’d be safe and cared for. Winter is a gentle, friendly 12 pound MaltiPoo who gets along wonderfully with people and other dogs. She’s potty trained, quiet, and well-behaved — truly a perfect little lady. Today she visited our vet for a full checkup and bloodwork, and she’s scheduled for a much-needed dental next week. Once she’s feeling her best, Winter will be available for adoption and ready to bring her calm, loving spirit into a new forever home. We have the potential adopter fill out an application, then we set up a meet and greet. If they want to adopt, we set up a home check. If all goes well, we bring the dog to the adopter's home.

Our Mission

We rescue dogs who have been abandoned at the shelter due to their age or declining health. These dogs would have difficulty getting adopted and would be the first ones to be euthanized.
