Winter's Story

Meet Winter, a 1 year old Terrier mix with a heart as warm as a summer's day! Her sweet nature is as captivating as her boundless energy. She's the perfect companion for those who love to engage in active play, particularly in the great outdoors. A backyard is her playground where she loves to run, jump, and chase toys. Winter is selective with her canine friends, preferring some over others, but her affection for humans knows no bounds. She would love the chance to meet any dog sibings she would have in her future home before officially joining just to ensure it's a good fit for all! Her adoption promises a lifetime of laughter, love, and adventures. So why not open your heart and home to Winter? She's ready to bring a flurry of happiness into your life.

At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle. All of our animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, given flea/tick prevention, and dewormer.

For more information on adopting or to fill out an application, please visit our website: https://www.swh.org/adopt.html

Anyone is welcome to visit our shelter during our adoption hours of Monday-Saturday, 12-6pm, or Sunday from 12-5pm, no appointment needed.
