Winter

Winter is a soft-hearted snuggle expert with a gentle, easygoing spirit. This super sweet girl is happiest curled up beside you, soaking in all the affection she can get but she's just as content heading out for a mellow stroll around the neighborhood. On walks, Winter charms everyone she meets with her adorable wiggles and the gentlest little nudges, sweetly asking for pets and happily leaning in for more. She's the kind of dog who brings a calm, cozy energy wherever she goes never in a rush, always ready to connect. Winter is medium-low energy, snuggly, easy walking (rarely pulls) lovely dog. She doesn't care for most other dogs. She loves soft and squeaky toys. She is wiggly little love bug.

If you're looking for a dog who will keep your couch warm, your heart full, and your daily walks sprinkled with smiles, Winter is ready to be your girl.

Winter is currently in a foster home. If you're interested in her, please email kswanson@berkeleyca.gov First, we'll set up a virtual meeting with their current foster family via phone, Zoom, or Facetime, to provide you with more detailed information. Then, if you feel that Winter might be a good adoption fit, shelter staff will gladly coordinate an up-close and personal meet and greet with your potential family member. Thank you for your support!
