WINSTON WIGGLESWORTH's Story

WINSTON was a desert dump in Palmdale California and had been on the streets at least 5 weeks, before I got him. Although he was in bad shape, I believe it was simply neglect, and having been outside in the rain and cold for so long. He has been happy ever since the minute I met him! I believe he knows he’s been rescued and that he knows he’s going to have an awesome life..He loves to play and is really smart! BUT, if he is outside in the yard and I’m in the house he will bark like crazy until I go out and make him come in. He thinks everybody on the street is his business and he will bark all day. I believe that’s his only fault. He is just about potty trained but uses the doggie door and I’m not sure if he’s the one that potties on the pads or it’s one of the other dogs. Winston would do well in a family with children, or with a single person, or any combination there of. If he is adopted into a family with children, he’ll be able to play often whereas that something he needs a lot of is playing. If he goes with a single person, I would expect that he would be taken to a dog park or let run freely in a fenced to backyard. if there is no other dog in the house then I would like for there to be a parent at home with him. He’s already been abandoned I don’t know how many times and I don’t want him left alone in someone’s backyard again. He is a very good boy that is learning quickly. He would make an awesome addition to most any home. He can be energetic or a couch potatoe. He is neutered, microchipped, has all shots, dewormed, and de-flea.
