Winston

Winston is cute, handsome and ... so full of himself! He's young and VERY active. He needs an owner who is also very energetic and not a pushover. Winston is smart and picks up things quickly, but is just full of it. He loves to play with his huge ball and runs madly around the yard. Not so good at coming in, but will, ball in mouth. He can get in trouble with other dogs when he will not share his ball, so plays with it with you, but not the other dogs.<br/><br/>He is smart, picks up commands quickly, but is definitely a challenge! Because of his high energy level he is probably not a good match for kids, but would love fast walks or runs. Winston needs better manners. We're working on his desire to "herd" folks. You can't be a push-over with this boy. He plays too roughly for some of dogs and they try to get away from him before he's worn out. <br/><br/>He loves to be petted and have his belly rubbed. He's got so much potential, but will need an owner who is consistent. He needs a home with a secure fence and some elbow room.
