Winston is a special guy with a lot of background. This can all be discussed with any potential adopters. He's about 5 years old. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and heartworm tested negative. Ideally Winston would be the only pet in the home, although, we will attempt meet and greets with any current dogs in the home and meet and greets are required. We are not sure if it's a possibility or not. He's very food driven, but he came to us almost starved to death. Winston enjoys children, and he's a very social guy with people of any age. NO CATS! Ogemaw County Humane Society's Adoption Policy
-Cats are same day adoptions. -Dogs are NOT same day adoptions. -We require home visits with the dogs. This means you take the dog home for about a week to ensure that dog is a good fit for your life. Adoptions can be finalized after the home visit is complete. We understand some people are not local, and we can work around that to accommodate the needs of all parties involved. -Meet and greets are required for any dog adoptions where there is already a dog in the home. -CAT ADOPTIONS REQUIRE CARRIERS TO LEAVE THE BUILDING! -DOG ADOPTIONS REQUIRE A LEASH TO LEAVE THE BUILDING!
