I love going on walks no matter where we end up and I also love to run around the yard and see things, smell things, and hear things! I can be a little nervous when we first meet and I need a little time to get to know you first, I'd also love it if you moved slowly around me while I'm getting to know you! I'm not very social and get nervous around other dogs but I don't mind my kennel neighbors too much. Speaking of, I'm not very good at sharing my food and treats, they're my favorite thing and I want to make sure I get them all to myself. <br/><br/>If you give me some time, I'll show you just how much love I have to give and how much joy I can bring to your life!

Pet Adoption Guidelines A lifetime commitment must be made to the animal, and the animal must be kept as a family pet. Must be 21 years of age or older and have proper identification. Must be able to prove that property management permits pets if renting or prove homeownership. The adoption process takes at least 90 minutes. This gives you and the pet time to meet, bond, make a well-thought decision, review and sign the paperwork, and the adoption counseling process. If you are considering adopting, you need to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to closing. The Texas Humane Heroes 14-Day Promise gives adopters peace-of-mind to bring an animal back to TXHH for treatment if they show signs of illness within 14 days of adoption.
