Winnie's Story

Winnie came to our animal shelter after being left on Chickasaw Road in Hagerman, NM with her two sisters Mary and Sarah, also available. They three girls have been with us a couple years and can be shy at first but once they are comfortable they are playful and loving. All three have spent some training time in the prison program at Roswell Correction Center. They are very smart and eager to love.

She is very calm in the house and only wants to be right with you. We promise she will love you more then you thought was possible.

For the longest time it was very hard to tell Mary and Winnie apart until poor Winnie had a "tongue accident" and had to have the front tip removed. That does not stop this girl though, she does not even know it is missing.

We believe her to be a Shepherd cross. Her sisters look like they have shepherd in them as well, one who looks just like her and the other looks more like a Belgian Malinois.

She is an estimated 4 year old spayed female, current on rabies, Parvo and Distemper.
