Winnie's Story
Meet Winnie!

Winnie is a 1-year-old Corgi/Shepherd mix weighing about 30 pounds, and she has the classic Corgi personality—smart, confident, playful, affectionate, and just a little bit bossy! She loves being with her people and will keep you smiling with her funny, mischievous personality.

Winnie loves people and enjoys children, but her herding instincts mean she may try to nip at the ankles when they are running. Because of this, an older-child home would be the best fit.

She also loves playing with other dogs and would do best with a friendly, more submissive dog who won't mind Winnie occasionally trying to be the boss. She would also be fine as an only dog. Winnie has done well with cats she's lived with, although she does have a tendency to chase cats and squirrels when she's outside.

Winnie is crate trained and house trained with a doggie door, though she may need a little adjustment learning to let her people know when she needs to go out without one. She also loves going for car rides and would happily tag along on adventures.

Like many Corgis, Winnie is clever and curious—and sometimes a little too clever! She enjoys stealing socks and toys, so her new family will need to keep up with her. It's all part of her fun-loving personality.

Winnie is a happy, affectionate, energetic girl with lots of personality who would love an active family ready to give her the exercise, structure, and attention she needs.
She is spayed and up to date on all shots and microchip
If you interested to foster or foster/adopt please fill out application online at Www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com
