Winnie #9's Story
Winnie #9 is 2 years old and 60 lbs. She is thin and should gain a few lbs. When she was surrendered at the shelter her owner said it was because she chewed shoes. Winnie has perfect house manners at her foster home, has shown no interest in chewing anything that isn’t hers, and sleeps quietly all night in her crate. She has had zero potty accidents and doesn’t counter surf or beg for food. She takes treats very gently, shows no food or toy aggression, and sits on command. Because of her bouncy energy Winnie would be best in a home without very small children as she could knock a little one over. She loves to be petted and will sometimes give her paw to ask for more. She would be happiest in a home with a fenced yard, and with a family who isn’t gone for long periods. Winnie has medium energy and would love a home with another dog to help her burn off that energy or a family who is dedicated to making sure she has daily exercise and regular playdates with another dog. Winnie has beautiful very long eyelashes that are often typical of doodles.

For additional information about Winnie #9 please email Marla Cox: mclabs4rescue@gmail.com

Winnie #9 is being fostered in New England.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We receive many questions about our adoption process from potential adopters, most of which can be answered by viewing our "Adopt a Lab" page on our full-service website, (https://labs4rescue.com/adopt).
