She’s just as content curled up on the couch with her foster family as she is running joyful zoomies with her foster dog pack.<br/><br/>She can be a bit shy at first, but with calm, patient interaction she quickly blossoms into a wiggly, affectionate girl who loves attention. Winnie has lovely manners—she waits politely for her food, sits before heading outside, and is both crate trained and housetrained.<br/><br/>Winnie would do well in a home with children 5+ (her happy excitement could accidentally topple a toddler). She would truly love a playful dog sibling and enjoys games of chase, so a fenced yard would be ideal. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.<br/><br/>The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. <br/><br/>We are located in the metro Atlanta area.
