Winnie's Story

Meet Winnie! She is one of eight puppies that were found in a cemetery in Alamos, Mexico. She recently travelled back to LA with her lovely fosters who cannot keep her as they have other dogs. She was really well behaved on the trip North and slept most of the way. When she arrived at her new foster home she immediately learned how to use the doggy door. She has not yet learned to walk on a leash but she is very intelligent and will learn easily. She is very smart and loveable and will make someone a wonderful pet. We are looking for someone who wants to hike and be active with Winnie, ideally someone who works from home and or has another dog for company. We have learned from experience that dogs do not do well when they are left alone for long periods of time.
