Winnie's Story
Wonky eared Winnie is one of our newer residents here at SGSDR. She comes to us from a shelter partner in IL. Winne is estimated to be 8 – 9 months old and weighs under 60 pounds. She is currently on the thin side, but when she fills out as she matures, we suspect she will weigh about 65 pounds. Winne is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, on a monthly preventative, and housebroken.

Winnie gets along great with medium to large dogs. We don’t recommend her to around small dogs, as she doesn’t seem to like them. We learned this when Winnie started to attend doggie daycare. Now she is limited to playing with only the bigger dogs. One of her favorite doggie buddies is SGSDR’s own Clyde. They will play until they drop. Winnie loves meeting new humans and has not met a stranger! She is happy to be with people and can’t wait to be a part of a human family! Winnie hasn’t been around children, but she should do well with older kids. She is an active pup and we think she may be too active for young kids. Winnie hasn’t been introduced to cats but since she doesn’t like small dogs, she is probably best in a home without cats. Winnie is playful and was recently introduced to toys. With a little human encouragement, she discovered that toys and balls are a lot of fun! Winnie enjoys long walks and visits to the park. She enjoys exploring new places. If you are ready for a fun, wonky eared companion, Winnie is the one for you!

-------------------
Our Adoption Fees:
-------------------

*Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $450

* Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $400

* Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program!
