Winnie is a Pit Bull Terrier mix that was surrendered to us by her owners. They were unable to care for her due to personal health issues. The family&#39;s autistic 4 year old child spent a lot of time with her, though, and she was absolutely amazing with the child.Winnie is initially shy and it takes her time to trust someone. She seems to connect with women more quickly than men. Once you gain her trust, she is the most loving and affectionate dog who only wants to cuddle. Once we receive an adoption application, we will verify vet and personal references. An interview and meet and greet, as well as a home check, are required before adoption. All current AND previous pets (cats and dogs) MUST be up to date on vaccines and be spayed/neutered. Please check with your landlord, if you rent, for breed and weight restrictions before applying.
