Winky's Story

Are you looking for a velcro dog (she will jump a childgate in order to be with her person) that is calm, cool, and collected? Winky is an 8 y/o Chi mix weighing about 10 lbs available for adoption with Pawsitive Tails Dog Rescue. She's a sweet, gentle girl with a soft, pleasant demeanor and she loves to be cuddled. Winky seems to be house/crate-trained and gets along with other dogs. Given Winky is missing an eye, she's probably visually impaired (but it doesn't allow her down). And she might have hearing impairment as well, or it's simply Chi Selective Hearing (yes, that's a thing ). Winky is not a fan of a crate and is vocal about it. As with most Chis, she's not a fan of cold weather and is quick to take care of potty business as long as you go outside with her. She likes to roll up like a burrito in a blanket and is not a fan of wearing clothes. Winky is a "plug-and-play" dog. Interested? All of the dogs in our rescue live in foster homes with both the human and furry members of our families. Our adoption process begins with an application which can be found under the "adopt" tab on our website, www.pawsitivetailskc.org. Please complete the form in full; the questions we ask help us to fully understand what type of dog you are looking for, and to make sure you get the very best fit. Incomplete applications will not be processed. If you do not include a vet phone number, a landlord phone number (if applicable), or 3 complete references, we cannot process your application.
