Wink's Story

How could you not adore this face?! Wink was found as a stray with an injured eye. We got him to surgery right away and now he's the happiest one eyed boy! He is a sweet and silly boy in his foster home. He is wonderful with the cats and dogs in his foster home and folded into the family seamlessly

Please see his profile on our website for the most accurate and up to date information.

www.littlelotusrescueandsanctuary.org

All pets in Little Lotus Rescue are considered not potty trained. We say that all animals in our organization are not potty trained because our animals are in foster homes. Everyone has a different idea of what potty training should look like. Some people have doggie door some people do not, some people take their dogs for a walk some people do not some people kennel some do not some work full-time some do not etc. We used to detail potty training for each animal, but after a few adopters being frustrated with a lack of doggy door knowledge or pottying on walks rather than in the yard, we began saying that no one is potty trained across the board.

The best way to think about adopting a new friend is to imagine bringing home an 8 week old puppy-so potty training, manners, walking etc. are what to anticipate post adoption. Your expectations of a new family member likely don't match that of the previous owners or even the fosters because we all live with pets a little differently.

Please begin by filling out an application. Not all applicants are the best fit for every pet. Status updates can be seen through petstablished and emails, please check your spam folder.

Animals can be adopted out of state. Potential adopters must do meet & greets in person. Animals must be driven home by the adopter or flown in cabin with the adopter.
