WINDY's Story

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Windy. And that girl was actually a cattle dog. But female so still a girl. One day, Windy found herself in a very scary place... the shelter. :( She was so frightened that she would hardly come out of her kennel or walk on a leash, and tried to escape out the windowsill, earning her name. Luckily, Princess Windy had lots of friends at VCAS who were rooting for her. They found her a new castle where she could stay for a little bit to feel better - in a foster home on a ranch! At the ranch Windy met her subjects WE MEAN friends!! Goats, dogs, cats, chickens, horses... she even goes to work with her foster mom to a grooming salon every day. Basically, all of Ventura County became her kingdom! (Not really). ANYWAY, fast forward to today. Princess Windy is doing AMAZING at the ranch... but she can't stay forever. Are you looking for a ranch queen who will blend right in with the pack? Windy's your girl. Please reach out to her foster parent to learn more... here's hoping for Windy's happily ever after. @vcanimalservices Windy started as an undersocialized dog we could barely touch, who tried to escape any room she was in... look at her now!!! She’s done well around goats, dogs, horses, and chickens. She even goes to work with her foster mama at a grooming salon! If you are looking for all ranch buddy, Windy is your gal! Located in Ventura County, CA. Find her posted to our website at vcas.us/all-foster-animals and email her foster to set up a meeting. ? original sound - Daryl Hall & John Oates
