Hello and welcome to Beacon Animal Rescue! Beacon’s mission is to rescue, shelter, and find loving homes for cats and dogs; to educate the community about responsible treatment of companion animals; and to promote the practice of spaying and neutering in a no-kill environment. All our dogs come spayed/ neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and medical records, along with a free wellness exam from our veterinary clinic within 30 days of adoption. <br/><br/>Wind is a one year old aspiring lap dog with a beautiful brindle coat and unique, two tone eyes. He is a sweet and cuddly boy that is cautious when first meeting new people, but with the help of some treats and a few minutes, he warms up! He is playful, curious, and oh so snuggly. He loves playing with his brother in the yard and always shows interest in the other dogs at the shelter when they pass by. Wind knows sit and is very treat motivated. He has good leash manners and is a good play pal! Wind is ready to keep you and your lap warm and cozy, so if you are too, apply today!<br/><br/>If you have any dogs in the household already, we require a meet and greet between the pups to make sure they will get along! All dogs can be cat tested upon request as well, unless the dog has already been tested, which will be marked on their profile.
