Wilson's Story

Meet Wilson

If you’ve ever wanted to live with a stubborn, hilarious, oversized grandpa trapped in a dog’s body… congratulations, your soulmate has arrived.

Wilson was a stray brought into a local AC and was tragically on the euthanasia list — catheter still in his leg in the intake photos. The vet techs took one look at his sweet old-man face and just couldn’t do it. And thank goodness, because this dude has too much personality to be checking out early.

Personality & Lifestyle>>>>>
Wilson is equal parts bossy, goofy, stubborn, and lovable. He knows “sit,” “wait,” and even follows hand signals (when he feels like it). He mostly just follows his foster around like a shadow because… well… he can’t hear you anyway. Yes — our king is deaf, which only adds to his charm.

He’s laid back, snoozy, and happiest when he’s fully sprawled out like a beached whale on the couch— after he’s knocked every pillow and blanket onto the floor to feng shui the space properly. He’s a professional cuddler, a world-class lounger, and the proud owner of selective hearing that we now know is just… no hearing at all.

Favorite Things>>>
Clearing the couch of anything he deems unworthy before taking a nap
Snuggling like the world’s best 90-pound lap dog
Getting the zoomies like a freight train
Chewing Nylabones
Being glued to his people at all times
Telling you when it’s breakfast and dinner (to the minute… he has an internal atomic clock)

Quirks (aka the things that make him perfect)>>>>>
He gets upset if he can’t see you and might bark to file his complaint.
He relies on his foster brother for guidance, so having another dog is nice but not required.
He would love a quiet home with someone home often — his love language is proximity.
He will absolutely boss you around when he believes the food bowls are empty.
He drinks water like a toddler, so… yes… you’ll be changing socks.
