Wilma's Story

Wilma was born October 8 of 2025. She is a female healer mix. She loves to play with other dogs and chew on toys. Wilma would do well sharing a home with a dog.

She does great in her crate at night, easily sleeps thru the night. She remains quiet even if she hears you get up. She is crate trained and doing really well with potty training, she goes to the door and looks back at you when needs out. Probably not 100% reliable but getting close. Wilma is super cute and loved by everyone she meets and she loves everyone she meets.

Wilma will be a medium size dog, she weighs 31 pounds at 15 weeks and has big paws, thinking about 70 pounds grown. She has a loving nature and enjoys playing with other dogs or people. She walks well on a lead and rides nicely in the car. Wilma is good with children although she gets excited when first meeting new people and wants to jump, but would not hurt a flea.

A fenced yard would be great, especially for bathroom activities, she goes out and does her business quickly. She has thick soft fur.

She loves food and her treats with a passion and will be easy to train. She is on preventatives for parasites and has all her vaccines, She’s going to be a great companion for some lucky family.

All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella and rabies. They are heartworm tested and on preventative for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. If you are interested in any of our pets, you must complete an online dog adoption application at www.rescueAhart.org . The application will put you in touch with this wonderful dog's foster family so you can schedule a meeting. Thanks!
