Wilma

Meet Wilma!

Wilma is a resilient, loving girl with an incredible story. She was found abandoned on the side of the road with her puppies after having been shot in the leg. (All of her puppies have found loving homes.) Unfortunately, the injury was too severe to save her leg, so she is now a happy and thriving tripod. Don't let her three legs fool you—Wilma doesn't let anything slow her down!

At around 5 years old and 73 pounds, Wilma is a sweet, active girl who also knows how to relax and enjoy a good nap. She is a little overweight, so a family that enjoys walks and playtime will help her get back to her ideal weight.

Wilma is heartworm negative and protected with ProHeart. She gets along well with other dogs and absolutely loves people. Because she gets excited and likes to jump up to say hello, she would do best in a home with older children. Since she hasn't been around cats in foster care, we aren't sure how she would do with feline friends.

Wilma has already overcome so much in her life, and now all she needs is a family who will love her forever. She has proven that even after hardship, life can still be full of joy, love, and second chances.

Your adoption fee includes:

Spay/neuter
Vaccinations
Deworming
Current heartworm prevention
Microchip

Adoptions take place at the North Fayette PetSmart in Robinson Township, PA.
