WILLY - never met a stranger's Story

Please meet Willy! This delightful young fellow is waiting for a place to hang his leash forever. His his current guardian has developed health problems and can no longer care for or exercise him the way every young active dog deserves.

Willy is 1-1/2 years old and weighs in at 57 pounds. Breed is a best guess so we'll call him a "Heinz 57" pup, but it's likely that here's some sweet chocolate lab in his DNA.

Willy loves everyone he meets (including kids) and greets them enthusiastically. He especially enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war. He also loves swimming and camping and will be in his glory if he can be included on fun adventures. Though this happy, loveable boy would never intentionally harm anyone or anything, he's an energetic pup so a family with children above toddler age would be best.

Willy gets along great with other dogs and has not paid attention to the cats that he's met. He goes to the door when he needs to go out and will learn the ropes in his new home quickly with a consistent routine and positive reinforcement. He's also crate and leash trained.

Willy is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date with his vaccinations. If you're wishing for a hunk of chocolate sweetness for Christmas, this boy has his doggy bags packed and is ready to bring joy to your world. Please email
Chris at rescue3@earthlink.net for an application. His adoption fee is $400.

.
