Willy's Story

ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt.

// // Meet Willie! Willie is an adorable 8-year-old, 9-lb poodle/terrier mix (aka a Terripoo!) with a happy, spunky personality. He’s energetic, playful, and has the cutest little hop when he runs around the yard—it’s impossible not to smile watching him play. Willie enjoys toys and chew bones, isn’t destructive, and loves a good backyard adventure (including a little digging!). Willie does well with adults and would likely be best with kids 10+ since he can get excited and jump up when saying hello. He rides beautifully in the car—quiet, alert, and happy to take in the scenery, even on longer drives. At night, Willie sleeps soundly in his crate and stays dry for 8–9 hours. He’s mostly house-trained with occasional accidents and does best with regular potty breaks. This sweet boy has a healthy appetite, enjoys a variety of dog-safe treats, and is currently thriving on Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach. Willie is a fun, affectionate companion who’s ready to bring joy, hops, and personality to a loving forever home. He is microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
