Willow's Story

PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to respond to inquiries. If you are interested in adopting from Tiny Paws RVA, please fill out the application at the link listed below!

Meet Willow!

A litter of 4 cute-as-pie puppies were pulled from the shelter, and after some time in loving foster homes they're ready to find their forever homes!

Willow is a cute little girl who is full or energy and sweetness. She wants to play and has no problem keeping her bigger brother in check, but she's also quick to want to be with her humans and snuggle up to them, too. She's smart and curious, and needs someone who will help her use her brain in healthy ways!

These will NOT be small dogs. They will be medium at best, but my gut and experience tells me they'll be in the 55-75lb range. We were told the puppies are a mix of hound and pit bull. Both of those are wider categories encompassing multiple breeds, so we don't have an exact idea of what they are.

She's working on crate training, house training, and basic obedience skills, but will need someone willing to put in the work to continue with that training.

Puppies are SO much fun, but they're also a lot of work. They will pee where they shouldn't, chew things they shouldn't, do things they shouldn't, and generally will test your patience. But if you're willing to put in time and work, they will truly be stellar dogs. You'll need to plan on attending obedience classes or working with a trainer.

All the puppies have been treated for fleas and parasites and seen by our vet for their initial exams and puppy vaccines. They will receive another round of vaccines before going home. Their future vaccines will be the responsibility of the adopter. Their spays and neuters will be scheduled at our vet and covered under the adoption fee but future adopters will be responsible for transporting their puppies to and from the appointments. This is a requirement for adoption.

You can find out more about adopting from Tiny Paw's RVA here:
https://www.tinypawsrva.org/adopt

If you'd like to apply for Willow, you can do so below!
https://form.jotform.com/231175931059154
