Willow came out to The Last Chance Ranch so we could get a better idea of who she is outside of her current home environment and she handled everything we threw at her beautifully.<br/> <br/>Other dogs<br/>Cats<br/>Chickens<br/>Ducks<br/>Goats<br/>Horses<br/>Cows<br/>New people and a completely new environment<br/><br/>Willow is a 4-year-old, 40-pound red Heeler mix looking for a committed new home. She is a loving, intelligent and energetic girl who would thrive with structure, regular activity and an experienced dog owner.<br/><br/>Willow currently lives with two dogs and five cats, and would need slow proper introductions to any new fur siblings in her new home. She generally passes other dogs appropriately while walking or out in public; however, she recently nipped another dog after being startled awake when the dog stood over her. This was not related to resource guarding. <br/><br/>Willow becomes uncomfortable when she feels cornered and needs a home that understands respect of space.<br/><br/>She has limited experience with children but has done okay during the interactions she’s had. Because of her sensitivities, a calm home without young children would likely be the best fit.<br/><br/>She has lots of potential and needs someone with the time, energy and experience to help her feel secure and succeed.
