Hi! My name is WILLOW, I'm a beautiful 38lb, 5+yr old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler. My owner passed away and the family members cared for me but had many other dogs so the kind people at Tails and Trails took me in. I am currently in a wonderful foster home who is working with me on my social skills. <br/><br/>You see, I am somewhat shy, but once I warm up, I am friendly and a cuddle bug. Due to my shyness, a home with kids 12+ and no cats would be my preference. I have lived with other dogs and enjoyed running with them but would do best with more submissive dogs that go with the flow as, true to my breed, I may try to herd them occasionally. A fenced in yard would be perfect! I walk well on a leash, am house and crate trained and ride well in a car. I'm the whole package!<br/><br/>Can you please give my sweet self a chance? Tails & Trails Rescue's Adoption Policy

All of our dogs are in foster homes or boarding and are seen by appointment only with approved applicants. Online Adoption Applications can be found at tailsandtrails.org. Once approved, a Meet and Greet appointment will be set with the dog or dogs or your choice. Our adoption fees include all vaccinations including rabies, boosters/dewormer as needed, spay/neuter, heartworm test, microchipping and are as follows: Puppies under 1 year $375.00 Adults 1+ $300.00 We do offer a Senior to Senior discount for our senior dogs adopted by a senior citizen. Friendly Reminders: **If dogs currently reside in the home, they must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations and on Heartworm preventative. If you have cats in the home the cat must be up to date on the rabies vaccine. Veterinarian information must be provided on the application as we do contact them for a reference. **If the residence is rented, we must obtain written Landlord approval disclosing breed or weight restrictions either in the form of a copy of the lease showing the pet agreement or personal note that includes the landlord name, address and phone number. These should be emailed to info@tailsandtrails.org **The application requires 2 personal, non-relative references. Please provide accurate email addresses as that seems to be the most efficient form of contact and advise them they will be hearing from us soon.
